Jordan at Mayer Lutheran Recap
Tonight Jordan came to the beautiful Mayer Lutheran High School Gym in Mayer. The small size of the gym makes for a great atmosphere.
Unfortunately the excitement in the gym wasn't able to push the Crusaders past the Hubmen of Jordan.
Jordan who is ranked number seven in AA started with a 6-2 lead which was soon erased by Mayer Lutheran and then turned into an 11-6 Crusader lead. That was the biggest lead they had.
Jordan came back from that lead and never looked back. They ended the half with a good run. They took a 31-17 lead into the team room.
Mayer Lutheran didn't come back out they way they would've wanted to. Jordan kept their 10+ point lead besides for a few times when the Crusaders got it to nine points.
The Hubmen got the lead to 19 late in the game until Mayer Lutheran knocked down three unanswered threes but that ended the scoring for them. The game finished 62-50 in favor of Jordan.
Mayer Lutheran now has two conference losses total and two to Jordan. The Hubmen are still undefeated in conference play. Mayer Lutheran was playing for a share in the Minnesota River Conference title but Jordan will will surely be the outright champions with only a few conference games left.
